How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

It is recommended to seek a speech-language evaluation if you are noticing your child gets easily frustrated with communicating, has difficulty understanding and following directions, is difficult to understand, or is not meeting developmental milestones.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska or private pay options.  

How do I know if my insurance will cover services?

You can start the process by calling the number provided on your insurance card to see if speech therapy is covered. Often, you will need a referral from a pediatrician.

How do I obtain a referral from a pediatrician?

You can either call your pediatrician's office to schedule a visit to discuss speech and language concerns or mention it to your pediatrician at your next visit. 

Where do you provide therapy?

We provide skilled speech language therapy in the child’s home, daycare, or school. Grow with Me Pediatric Therapy is flexible and will work with you further to determine the best location for therapy services. 

What health and safety precautions are you taking?

Therapist follows all health and safety precautions by wearing a mask and/or face shield, frequently sanitizing therapy materials, and utilizing proper hand hygiene at start and end of the session. 

What is the length and frequency of a therapy session?

The length and frequency of a therapy session is dependent on your child’s unique needs. Therapy sessions can range between 30 minutes to 60 minutes each and may be recommended from one to as many as three days per week. 

Can I attend my child’s therapy session?

Of course! We believe parent/caregiver involvement is key to a successful therapy program. You are not required to participate in therapy sessions, but are more than welcome to join or sit in if you would like.
